Game jams are where creativity, chaos, and collaboration collide. This year’s Spring Game Jam challenged teams to build games virtually in just ten days. From artists picking up new tools to programmers juggling ambitious ideas, participants walked away with hard-won lessons — and more excitement for their next jam.

This year's theme was "Remember":

We collected insights from many developers who took part, and their reflections reveal the key ingredients (and pitfalls) of a successful jam. Whether you’re a veteran jammer or considering your first event, here’s what they learned:

The Q2 Share and Play featured eight games, ranging from games made in ten hours to passion projects made over the course of two years!

Announcing: The 2025 Spring Game Jam

Spring is almost over already and we’re overdue for another game jam! So team up with local creators and make a game over a few weekends (and the week in between) for the Spring Game Jam!

    The theme will be revealed on Twitch, as well as showcasing the submitted games
    On Saturday March 24th from 12-5, there is an open Game Jam Work Session at Grand Glaize Library

This jam will be virtual only. SIGN UP ON ITCH.IO! We would like to encourage everyone to collaborate with local devs in person if possible. We think jamming in person is just more fun. To find teammates and stay up to date on event details, join our Discord server! If you must, you can work with remote friends as well. Students, hobbyists, and professionals are all welcome to submit games.
